We have just returned from a trip covering Hanoi / ha long bay (1 day) / mai chau / siem reap and hoi an over a 2 week period and have had a truly amazing time. Quynh Nguyen has been brilliant - always sending reminders before of pick ups and asking after each how it went. Day trips and tours were all included and transfers. Everything went 100% well. Having a 2 year old boy gave us some concerns at the amount of travelling about but it all went so well!! I can’t recommend them enough.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)

Upon arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. This is Vietnam's capital and celebrated its anniversary of 1,000 years in 2010. Historical emphasis on the arts and learning stipulates that buildings in Hanoi remain small, simple and in harmony with nature. You will have the afternoon at your leisure before an evening welcome dinner at a local restaurant and an overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 2: The French Colonial Style Hanoi City tour (B,L)

On day two, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (where the preserved body of "Uncle Ho" may be viewed), his nearby house on stilts, the lotus-shaped One Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and other lesser-known museums. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you will enjoy a one-hour cyclo ride around Hanoi's Old Quarter. Then you will be transferred to a Traditional Medication Center with 120 mins Traditional Therapy including Soaking in Herbal Basin, Acupressure massage, warm herbal compress and light meal. In the late afternoon, you will enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay & overnight on Heritage Cruises ( B/L/D)

  • 8:00 – 8:30 You will be greeted at your hotel to take the new highway to Got Ferry Terminal, Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City. You will travel on the longest bridge in Southeast Asia and be greeted at our lounge before boarding.
  • 12:30 Board the Heritage Cruises boat and enjoy a welcome drink as you receive a cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in to your suite. Lunch is served at L’Indochine Restaurant.
  • 12:40 Cruise to Da Chong islet, where you can see a heritage lighthouse built by the French more than 100 years ago. After lunch, cruise to Gia Luan Lagoon where limestone karst formations rise out of the sea. This quiet bay is untouched and remote, as not many cruise ships visit.
  • 15:30 The cruise vessel approaches the Ba Trai Dao or Three Peach beaches in Lan Ha Bay, a natural frontier between the provinces of Halong and Haiphong. This secret hideaway has beaches, caves, and coves, plus the spectacular natural beauty of about 400 islands. Guests can try kayaking or simply swim in the clear waters of the bay.
  • 17:30 Back on Heritage Cruises, enjoy life aboard the vessel or in your suite, and with a cocktail in hand watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
  • 18:30 Activities include afternoon tea and the chef will lead a Vietnamese cookery class.
  • 19:30 A memorable dining experience will be offered at the restaurant, with local food in an intimate and romantic setting.
  • 21:30 Enjoy evening views of the bay at the bar on the top deck. Try your hand squid fishing. The bars are open until late.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi ( Brunch)

  • 6:15 Start the day with a session of Vovinam on the sundeck,
  • 6:45 The guests will enjoy a light breakfast on board.
  • 7:15 Head off in a bamboo boat to explore the Dark and Bright Cave
  • 9:00-9:30 Return to the ship for checkout.
  • 10:00 Enjoy brunch while cruising back to harbor.
  • 11:00 Return to Got Harbour and relax at our lounge while your transportation arrives.
  • 12:10 Departure to Hanoi
  • 14:00 Approximate time of arrival in Hanoi, and drop-off at your hotel.
  • The rest of the day you will have some free time at leisure.
  • Overnight in Hanoi. 

Day 5: Hanoi – Hue – 3 days Detox Journey(B, D)

  • This morning, you will take the morning flight to Hue.
  • Upon arrival, you will transfer directly to Alba Retreat Hue to take part in the 3 days Detox Journey. With the schedule as:
  • 14:00 - 14:30 Wellness Assessment
  • 16:30 - 17:00 Detox Juicing class
  • 19:00 - 20:00 Healthy Balanced Vegetarian Dinner
  • 20:30 - 21: 20 50 min Spa Treatment
  • Wellness Turndown (Detox Tea)

Day 6: Continuing your Detox Journey (B, L, D)

  • Today you will continue your journey with the day 2 activities:
  • 7:00 - 8:00: Morning warmup with a short Bike ride
  • 8:00 - 9:00: Wellness activity: Yoga/ Fitness
  • 9:30 Healthy Balanced Breakfast
  • 10:30 - 13:00: Zipline & Highwire
  • 13:00 – 13:30: Detox Juicing class
  • 13:30 - 15:00: Hot-spring soaking and Free time
  • 15:00 -16:00: Cooking class
  • 17:00 -18:30: Onsen & 50 minutes spa treatment
  • 19:00: Healthy Balanced Vegetarian Dinner
  • Wellness Turndown (Detox Tea)

Day 7: Finish your last day of Wellness trip (B)

  • 7:00 - 8:00 Hiking in the mountains
  • 8:00 - 9:00: Wellness activity Yoga / Fitness
  • 09:00: Healthy Balanced Breakfast
  • 10:00-10:50: Massage Treatment
  • 12:00Check out
  • Then our car will pick you up and transfer you to Hue/ Danang airport for departure.
